SOAG members work hard to raise funds to protect, preserve and enhance the Gardens.
We also have to raise funds for our running costs. For example - in order to hire a hall for a coffee morning, we are obliged to take out public liability insurance. Membership charges aim to cover administration costs and postage, but we also have several fundraising events each year.
Mostly we fundraise through things like coffee mornings, fairs, and a stall in the gardens on Carnival day. However we have on occasions made a direct appeal for specific project funding.
The people of St Annes have been generous in their support to us, and we are always mindful of the responsibility this entails.
Some of the pictures below show our volunteers in action. If you would like to get involved, or if you have something you could donate, whether it is a bequest or bric-a-brac, please contact our Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer who will be pleased to hear from you
